Ches of Right Way Signs has been at the helm of hand-painted sign work in Chicago for 50+ years. As a partner for a very small portion of that but long-time collaborators nonetheless, we took a different approach for this piece wherein we filmed as Ches was painting and talking us through the history and process of making knockout signs, which we feel resulted in a very genuine and meditative expression of sign painting in video form.
